"How is God calling us to be the Church to the people living in our diocese"
The purpose of the Diocese's strategy engagement is to engage parishes and communities in a conversation, to help clearly identify what we have learned from living through a global pandemic, and to identify how effective the previous five-year diocesan strategy has been, where there has been any impact and what changes we need to make as we plan for the future.
Our primary question is, “What can the diocese central function do to help our parishes, benefices and deaneries to flourish?â€
Bishop Richard will be hosting 10 listening events at a number of venues across our diocese.
The Bishop seeks to visit as many locations as possible and will be there to affirm the prayer life of our churches and to encourage the mission and ministry of the diocese as well as listening and learning first hand to the challenges and opportunities faced in our many parishes. |

"The RSCM is an educational charity, whose mission is to ‘promote the study, practice and improvement of music in Christian worship.’
We are supporting churches and church communities of all kinds, by ensuring that they have the support resources to sustain them through this challenging period of dislocation and disconnection and we are continuing to work to help musicians plan and develop skills for when a return to a more normal life is possible.
